Prayer & Evangelism Ministry

Prayer is essential and cannot be overemphasized. It moves the hand of God. At Victory City, we are a community of believers who rely on prayer and are committed to God’s sovereignty. Every Sunday during the morning service, a team of volunteers prays for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, members of our Prayer Ministry team pray for our pastor, a list of church members, special requests, and missionary needs.

Every Wednesday, the church gathers for a dedicated time of prayer. The Prayer Ministry serves as a catalyst for change in the lives of our members, our church, our community, and our nation through constant intercession. We believe in the power of prayer, as stated in James 5:16: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available.”

While our Evangelism team leads the church’s efforts to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ through verbal witness, acts of mercy, and prayer, the Prayer Ministry remains a foundational force in our mission.
